What is the best way to get to Disney from SW FLorida? Mapquest has us going route 17 for most of the way. I've only ever done I75 to 4. We are visiting relatives in Cape Coral and are driving to WDW on Thursday.
Thanks

Google maps shows both the I-75 to I-4 route and the US 17 route, with 17 taking about 20 min longer, but 30 miles shorter. I would stick to the interstate.

I disagree. I always head east from Fort Myers on SR80 to LaBelle, a short stretch north on SR29 and then the rest of the way north on US27. It's 4-lanes divided the entire way except for that short stretch of SR29. There are several towns with traffic lights to contend with. But I've gotten home quicker via that route than colleagues who took the I-75 route. I-75 is a great road but it goes WAY out of the way.
