Driving from Sanford to WDW?

I know you can either take the toll or I-94, but which is the best and which is the easiest? I have no problem paying the tolls if it's an easy ride and fast. Is it easy to get on the tollway from the airport? Any help is appreciated.

SR417 is the easiest route. Exit the airport stay right and take Lake Mary Blvd to SR417. It's about an hour. It's about $8.00 now with the last round of toll increases.

If you don't want to spend the toll money, stay on Lake Mary Blvd for about 8 miles to I4 and take I4 west. From Lake Mary, it's about 45 minutes once you get to I4.

I have always taken I-4 and have never had any problems. The only problems I can forsee by taking I-4 is that you do travel thru downtown Orlando. If you are going to hit rush hour, you may want to avoid downtown.

Take 417. Hands down. Even in rush hour it's not crowded except at some toll plazas.
