Looks like flying into PBI airport has the better times and rates for our June trip.(vs MCO) Can anyone share with me how the drive is from there to vero? How long might it take and is it an easy drive?

Thanks.
Suzanne

I prefer the drive from Orlando, but PBI to VB is only slightly longer. If you can find the quick way to the Turnpike from PBI, I'd recommend that over overtrucked I95, at least as far as Fort Pierce (after that you have to take 95).

PBI may be a little further, but we always fly into there rather than MCO when going to Vero. It is a small and easy to navigate airport, easier to get in and out of than the lager and busier MCO.

I think that PBI to Vero is closer driving time, we have done it from PBI & MCO. Once you get past Palm Beach Gardens traffic should thin out.We just did the drive from Delray Beach( about 20 minutespast the airport). It took us about 2 hours. Keep your eyes open as I got a speeding ticket in Martin county, it is real easy to do 80, that lightend my wallet to the tune of 80 dollars. :sad2:

Take I-95 out of PBI. The State just opened a $300M series of flyovers that connect I-95 directly to the airport. There is construction on I-95 northbound but once you get past PGA Blvd the drive is easy. On I-95 northbound, go past the Vero Beach exit (Rte 60 eastbound takes forever) another 11 miles to the Sebastian/Fellsmere exit and then go east to the resort.

Okay guys - perhaps someone here can help me. I also posted on the transportation thread.

We will be arriving at PBI on 3/24 and will spend a few days in Jupiter before driving to WDW for a few days. I was able to print out directions from Mapquest from Jupiter to BWVs.

I am now trying to get directions from PBI airport to home in Jupiter - does not recognize airport or PBI - what am I doing wrong? Help? Thank you very much in advance.

I just did a mapquest search for directions by typing in Palm Beach International Airport in Florida (under the starting address tab - find a place) and jupiter florida for the ending address. It pulled up a map with no problem. It's a 25 minute drive if you use the interstate. Of course, if you are like my husband, we have to drive A1A along the ocean - very beautiful and scenic - however, it's a very slow drive. We LOVE Jupiter. My in-laws used to live there - now live in Stuart. We stayed in Jupiter last summer for a few days and had a great time.

Just wanted to second the idea of taking A1A if you have the time.
