Driving from Omaha to Disney World

My wife and I are in our 30's with no kids. We want to drive to Orlando from Omaha. Any comments or suggestions? Is there anything interesting along the way to see?

KISBY- We are from SW MO, Going to be driving to WDW in July, Also looking for the same info?? Most of the time we fly from KCI, This year we will be driving, Going to Destin Fla on way down. looks like about 19-22 hours both ways?????? We live in NE also. We were going to drive to Orlando in June but w/3 kids and not enough time I am looking into flights. When we thought about driving we were going to go over to St.Louis and down from there. We used to live near St. Louis and we went that way before and it was interstate all the way. I think we went St. Louis, Nashville, Atlanta and on down. With those large cities I know there would be a lot to see and do. We are from SW Missouri so we have also gone the other way to Orlando. We would go down through Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is two lane through the mountains (even though it is pretty) and it will take more time. I have been both ways since we used to go down there every year when we lived in Missouri. Since we moved to Nebraska it is a little too far for us to drive because of the time it takes. I hope this helps some.
