Driving from NYC to Chicago, Ill

Can anyone tell me how this drive is/long and any good stops to make along the way this will be out first time driving long distance TIA

It's a really easy but boring drive. It's like 10 or 12 hours IIRC it's been a few years since we've done it. We shoot through PA(boring) through upper Ohio(even more boring since it's a toll road & who wants to pay to get off the highways) Upper Indiana & into Chicago.

I drove from NYC to South Bend, IN for 4 years while I was in college. It's about 12 hours to South Bend and Chicago is another 90 minutes from there. It is not a terribly exciting drive. I would always drive straight through but once in a while, if my parents were with me we'd stop in Youngstown OH which is about he halfway point.
