Last night my little Monkey's boy scout troop cancelled the meeting and asked the adults (if you had to bring kids it was ok so I brought my kid) to meet at someone's house for a meeting. Well somehow in all of that I volunteered for the parade float committee that is due on Dec. 4 (9am for the parade to be exact). So I have people with me and we are coming up with ideas but I'm not sure what in the world I was thinking! I did what Tammie did this morning--- I made a list (VERY LONG) of everything I need to do/get done for the trip before we leave and for the house/puppy/holidays before we leave and I'm not quit sure I'm happy about being in the one month range anymore!

But on a side note my son had country/western day today and all last month they were learning how to square dance so they did that today and it was so cute! Damien wore a purple button up shirt and dark blue pants and a cowboy hat! His teacher has a website that she posts everything on for the parents and I'm trying to upload the video and it's not working... I wonder if she knows....

I think I am bonkers...lately I have been slipping up accidently...praying that the kids have caught on!

Is your list like mine...I even put timelines on things...I arraged everything by weeks? This week AK plan and Autograph book is to be completed by Saturday night.

Autograph book...all the pages created on the computer, just neet to print them. I thought About having Walmart do it...but I do not want to get into trademark issues...plus I am going to print them so that I have a margin to bind the pages and then be able to crop the pictures/pages when I get ready to scrap them.

I actually gave myself dates as of yesterday to get everything done and printed out a calender to get them done by and then every week I have a "catch up day"..... Otherwise I am going to be all over the place with everything! Now I just have to pay attention to my dates!

I have not received ours yet but I'm just now really expecting it. I think you are a few days ahead of me so it wouldn't hurt to put in a call either to Disney or your travel agent just to inquire... you are talking about the luggage tags, resort info, etc. right? aka: Mickey Mail

Oh my you guys have the motto--- "What's one more day?" Well I am going to make my motto "What's $300 when it's for Disney stuff AND on clearance?" Yes I went to the Disney outlet store with a 20% off coupon (I'm not quit sure that it sinks in my head that just because they are asking off money doesn't mean you can buy more)! I went there and I bought a few bags worth of stuff (Plus did you know for every $25 you spend you get this cute Mickey and Minnie ornament for only $10?) and I am not regretting it, but I think that DH is! AFter black Friday I will post pictures but I found some sweatshirts for us to wear while there, some shirts to give to the kids we are going to see on the way there and back, BPA free water bottles, and the cutest little Mickey mouse with a matching Mickey PJ set for Damien to wear the night we tell him we are leaving (in the car he can wear PJ's and change when he waked up that morning)! I am excited! My friend was with me for "moral support" to buy the stuff and then when she saw K's face as I got out of her van... well to say she pulled away right away wouldn't do it justice!

I did tell him that... I said look this costs $36 at the world (it is from Magic Kingdom jacket for me) and at the outlets I paid $15 PLUS I had the 20% off coupon!!! It didn't wok sowell Tammie!

I know... what a friend!!!!! Today at the soccer game she says "Sorry, but I've heard that quiet man get mad before!

We got one much closer recently and even though I have not gone OVERboard with it, it is dangerous having it so close.

I don't like the Disney store itself which is closer too much because I find it's always busy and packed because it's in the mall! I LOVE the outlet store which is like 45 minutes away because it's in the tangers (a group of stores in a huge circle with a parking lot in the middle of it all) and because it's just that people don't go there too much!

Today I was going to start on stuff, but Damien and K are home and I have to get to the meeting for the boyscout float (I REALLY REALLY REALLY do NOT like how they are having me do this! I can't ask for any donations from the parents, only the stores and the stores are not giving us 100% of what we need they want us to come up with some money)! But before the float I have to get Damien's hike and fire badge requirements done, get his homework done and have him learn the boy scout pledge! So nothing happening today! Okay so tomorrow after I take care of the yard (mowing, raking and such) I am going to start on the bags that all of the state gifts are going to be in! I have lots of little trinkets from the $1 store that I am putting in them plus some stuff from the Disney store for longer states! So I am going to make bags of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy, Chip and Dale are going to be "waiting" for us in the room to "invite" us to the camp out at Wilderness Lodge that night. Can you think of any easier ones I can do? THIS is kinda how I am going to do the bags (or try to do them). So I would need it like that and we are going through 10 states (but 2 he will be sleeping) so I need 8! So 2 more ideas please! Unless because the last state is going to be stuff he needs for Disney (a fanny pack, lanyard, pen, autograph book and such) should I just have one with all of the parks? So I would decorate it with pictures from the parks? So I'm unsure! Please offer some help!

The bags are such a cute idea. Two more though Have you looked at bags at dollar tree? It seems to me that they had some gift bags...or maybe use gift wrap to wrap the bags? I know they have Disney Christmas wrapping paper. But then that would not go with idea of the cute etsy bags.

I will give it some thought....

I probably would not spend a lot on the bags themselves...except for a nice big one to keep all his stuff in (cause I can't stand things everywhere in the car).

My idea for the bags is get some of those plain colored gift bags from the dollar store and then print off a nice picture (or maybe a coloring page of the character) of the character and glue it to the front of the bag...then get curly ribbon and tie it up in a fun way! Then you do not have 8 bags in the car...they can easily be discarded (and the picture saved) as you stop along the way.
