We've always kicked back Dec 26 doing any travelling later in the week if we have a trip on tap, this year we're planning a trip down starting early the 26th. We have 2 possible routes, I-81 all the way to Winchester Va then hang a left to Fredericksburg then I-95 on down. The other puts us on the I-495 loop by late am then on to I-95. To be honest, we're going to Myrtle Beach not WDW, please indulge my request.
I assume traffic will be horrible in the DC area at least, any experiences with either of my routes on that day would be appreciated. We'll leave home in Pa. 7 ish in the am, probably hit I-495 10:30 or so.
