Hi,

We're visiting next Tuesday and driving from the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach. How early should we leave to get there for park opening at 8am? I assume we'll be driving during rush hour  Is there a route that's better than another? Any advice is much appreciated!

Your best route on the freeway is to take the 405 south - 22 east - 5 north. The attached link shows directions from LAX, but there is a map that shows what freeways you can take to get to DL.

I would allow anywhere from a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic.

I second this! I drive in from Long Beach every morning, and the 405-22-5 combo is the best way to go! :thumbsup2

Drive safely!

Hey Lorealle,

I was at the Dessert Buffet on Sunday, and while waiting for the podium to get there (yes, I was there before the time they tell you to be there), I was talking to a family from up north, and the dad mentioned how much he loves the HoJo cam. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for the directions and quick reply. Here's to our long day in the parks next Tuesday!
