Driving directions POFQ to Fl Turnpike South

We'll be heading to Key West on Wednesday. What is the best route from POFQ to the Florida Turnpike South?

Okay, you need to take Osceola Parkway (look on your disney transportation map to find it) out of Disney. That will lead you right to the turnpike. We take this route every time. It saves time over I-4 and don't even think about taking 192!!!! Remember you will hit some rush hour traffic.

When you exit French Quarter turn left onto Bonnet Creek Parkway. When the road dead ends at the stop light turn right.

Take Buena Vista Drive under the bridge and to the 3rd stoplight. You will go past the entrance to Caribbean Beach Resort. Turn left onto Victory Way (there is a firestation at this corner).

Once on Victory Way go past the entrance to Pop Century. At the next light, turn left onto Osceola Parkway.

Take this road all the way to the Turnpike. The toll is $1.25 or $1.50, but seems to be the least confusing route possible.

Lost on Wed, no we wouldn't want that!!! All the way to Key West is a long trip-about 8 hrs. do you know where you are staying there??? Samantha Brown did a great show on a B and B called the Marquesa.

Stopping in Marathon (Holiday Inn) on Wednesday. My DW will be visiting a former co-worker who is a CPA in Marathon.

Thursday, we'll go on to Key West - staying at the Hampton Inn. - Flying via seaplane to/from the Dry Tortugas (Ft. Jefferson) Thursday afternoon.
