driving directions help

We have been to WDW many times but doing our first split vacation with Universal and we were trying to figure the route we would need to take. We will be coming early December and driving in from Arkansas. First part of our stay is at Royal Pacific then moving to Pop Century for remainder.
Could someone help us with a couple of questions>
1) What would be the best route to get to Royal Pacific? We will be coming in 95/turnpike probably early to mid morning? Is there a good route that you can take to avoid I-4? For some reason DH does not like that road but may have to "deal"
2) What is the best route from Royal Pacific to Pop Century? Not really sure what time of day we will be moving all depends on how much time we spend in park our last day at Universal? Again is there a route that would avoid I-4 and not be a LOT longer.

What does google maps say? That's how I plot alternate routes. But as long as it's not rush hour I-4 should not be too bad.

You can take Apopka Vineland Rd to and from WDW /Universal. You would need to take Kirkman Rd to Sand Lake Rd to Apopka Vineland. Then turn onto Hotel Plaza Blvd to enter WDW.
