Hi,

We are going to San Diego first, then to Disneyland next week. Here is what Mapquest suggested, is that the best way? TIA princess: Emilie

2: Merge onto I-15 N. 15.2 miles

3: Merge onto CA-78 W via EXIT 32 toward OCEANSIDE.

4: Merge onto I-5 N via EXIT 1B toward LOS ANGELES.

5: Take the HARBOR BLVD exit- EXIT 110- toward BALL RD.

6: Turn LEFT onto S HARBOR BLVD.

If where you will be in SD is off the 15 freeway, then, yes, that's the best way. A lot of SD attractions are off the 5 freeway, like Sea World, so then it would just be a straight shot up the 5 from SD to Anaheim.

If you can make the drive from downtown on I-5, do it. the 78 is a slow freeway and you'll add at least 20 min. to your trip by going up the 15.

I don't trust Mapquest. Sometimes they give you the longer route or just wierd ones. I say try Yahoo! maps and see where they point you. We always get our directions from there and have never been lost.

if you are near 52, take 52 west to 805 north, will merge to the 5 north. (you can also take 56, ted williams west to the 5 north. ). . . it sounds like you are more north of 52 so that may be out of your way, 78 can get backed up. . .
