Hello if you all wouldn’t mind sharing with me what town car service you have all used where the driver is standing in luggage claim waiting with your name on a sign? Thank you in advance

We used Tiffany Towncar. Our driver sent a text and had a sign. Met us right at the carousel with a sign. He was parked right at the door, helped us schlep all our stuff (we had a Sprinter van for 8 people) all of us and our stuff fit. Plus we got a grocery stop!

I was actually looking for someone other than Tiffany. Our last three or so trips have been quite challenging in finding our driver.

Was this recently? We have used Tiffany for years but in the past year they've stopped doing this because they now get charged by the minute or something for parking in the area where they leave their cars. So for our past few they say to text when you land and they'll meet you at your luggage carousel. We were told that's their new policy, but if you had them waiting with the sign in the past year then it may be driver specific.

Yes, I’m addition to the airport having one of the biggest pickup fees in the country (about $7) they also charge more if your vehicle is at the terminal more than 30 minutes. So most companies are doing away with meeting passengers at baggage claim because of the additional costs…unless they want to pay more.

So we've had three Tiffany drivers in a row who wouldn't wait with a sign...but some might? Should be interesting to see how this progresses :)

We used Southern Elegance Limousine in December and our driver was waiting with the sign. That was the only time I’ve used them but they came on recommendation from my cousin who has used them multiple times and my experience was positive. I would use them again.

This was last September. He did text first then my DH sent him our baggage location and he came up with a sign. Odds are he was cruising around, waiting for our text.
