driver's ed

i start driver's ed tomorrow and i'm excited! in order to get your license here you have to be enrolled in DE in order to get your permit, then drive an incredibly long amount of practice hours, and finally get it! any one else have any thoughts one it?

I already have my permit, but you need to take it to get your liscence.
I'm not looking forward to it.

i passed with a C ^___^;. i get my license in november! finally!! then i get to drive to orlando in april with just my girlfriends for a convention! woot to insanity on i-4!

im not allowed to take it untill i am 16 at my school. so i cant take it till my junior year, owell. But it stinks cuz all my friends are starting to take it this year cuz my birthday is in the summer so i have to wait.

I take drivers ed this year but where I live you don't need to go but to get a discount you take it. And I go to get my lisence in a few days. Oh yeah I can't wait.

whoa, so today at dE it was crazy. i take it at a public school at 6:45-7:45. a bus picks us up and brings us to my school (which starts at 7:55).
so...the class was ending, and the teacher mumbled something about which way to turn when leaving the classroom to get on the bus. i didn't hear, so instead of turning left like i was supposed to, i turned right (me and about 4 other people).
we were walking (unbeknownst to us the wrong way) when i heard someone call out my name. i turned and looked but i didn't see anyone, so i thought it was one of the public school kids talking to their friends or something. so we kept on walking until we realized we were going the wrong way.
so, we went into the office there and explained our situation. the lady asked the janitor to take us to the bus. he literally ran there, and we all had a hard time keeping up. finally, we saw the bus, no it hadn't left.
but everyone on the bus was really mad at us! we ended up getting to school around 7:51. it was a nightmare getting to class. i wonder if that's an omen!

(oh well, this turned out to be really long)!

I took it this summer...it was long and very boring. I have my permit and have a year until I get my license. And I still have to take Segment 2 before I get my licesne!

I'll be taking it next year most likely since I'll have to be 16 to get my license. I'll be 15 in March.

i got my license when was 14 because in kansas yu can get a leaners permit, and then if you have a job you can get a farm permit which allows you to drive to and from school and to and from work, im 17 right now and i have my regular license driving gets pretty old pretty fast, cuz yur parents will have you run your siblings places or go up to the store, lus with the price of gas, i prefer to just go to one place with a bunch of people on the weekends and PARTY.

well it was good, because they counted as a gym class at my school. I didn't pass the written exam the first time, because the teacher didn't not teache anything on the b exam but everything on the a one. i was like great!
then when i took my road test, i didn't pass. i couldn't do paralle parking nor "i didn't turn my head enough" on my k turn. what like what!! whatever! i guess that's what you get for getting your license in jersey. Truely the hardest state to get your license in! Heck I am Proud that i failed!

We take drivers ed in school sophmore year, and i passed the written test there. But i have to wait two more weeks for my birthday before i can do my 6hours to get my permit because i'm not 16 yet

think happy thoughts and stay focussed and you'll do just fine. really, after youve been driving for awhile, it doesnt get that hard. it actually is quite easy. i just hate exiting/entering on interstates! good luck!

thanks everyone! it turns out that the driver's ed car is a lot easier to drive than my dad's car. the instructor only had to put on the parking brake once, and i didn't hit any cars (lol!). Yay! now, for the next lesson...
