I live in Hyde Park (south side) right next to the University of Chicago (where I work)
So you're in Rockford. I've been there a couple times. My dad lives in madison, WI and sometimes we meet half way in Rockford

Had to go to the Dr's office this AM. Go see the surgeon tomorrow.

Finally raining here but DD has a friend over for the night and DS is "lonely" and I can't kick them out of the house.

there certainly are a bunch of disfolks from chicago here. The Chicago area DISers just had a meet but it was way out in the suburbs and it was difficult for me to get there at that time. Oh well, theres always next time
