We will be staying offsite at Windsor Palms resort, which is off of Formosa Gardens Blvd. I can figure my drive time from there to the main gate, but have no idea about the rest of the journey. When I made an early breakfast PS for the Kona Cafe, the CM almost seemed to be discouraging me...just how long does it take to actually get in? Can anyone tell me approximately what the drive time would be from...hmmm...the main gate to the MK parking area? Then about how long via monorail to the Poly? I know it will vary depending on traffic, but would like a ballpark idea for planning purposes. I want to be SURE I allow enough time! Thanks!

We stayed at Windsor Palms last Thanksgiving. I'd leave 45-60 minutes before your PS time. This assumes that you'll be getting there early - before or at park opening time. We never arrived mid-morning after the parks were already open, so I don't know if it would take longer then.

If you are running a little late you can always go directly to the Poly resort (assuming you have a car) and park at their visitors lot. They will let you park there for about three hours. Or you could use the valet parking (Cost about $8.00). If you plan on going to the Magic Kingdom after breakfast then you will have to relocate your car to the main lot if you used the visitors lot. If you "valet"ed your car you will be able to stay there all day. If you use the main parking lot you will have to get on a parking lot tram to the TTC and then get on the Resort monorail to the Poly. Count on one hour door to door. You may be able to do it quicker if all things are there waiting for you but normally when you are in a rush the tram or monorail just left when you arrived and you have to wait for the next one, but if you count on one hour total travel time (the time you leave the condo to the time you are in the front door of the Kona Cafe) you will not be late and you will have a great time looking for hidden Mickeys or just enjoying the Disney scenery
