Drive time to Kennedy Space Center

HI!
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how long the drive from Disney (Windsor Palms actually) to Kennedy Space Center is. From mapquest it seems like it shold only be about an hour but I was wondering if that is realistic with traffic.

We've driven that way on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and feel that it an accurate estimate of the amount of time needed. 417 to the 528 is not a heavily traveled road--there are toll booths, but little else to slow you down. 528 is heavier traveled but still very bearable.

Yes - that is accurate. There is very little traffic issues to make that trip longer than the miles estimated by MapQuest. It takes 45 minutes to get to Cocoa Beach - to get out to Kennedy Space Center takes a little longer because the road out to the center is forever and a day long. Just kidding - but it is a long boring road out to the Space Center and to get inside the security gates and to the parking areas takes a bit of time.
