Drive time from Melbourne?

Does anyone know about how long the drive is from Melbourne? We're staying at the beach this summer and are thinking about making a trip to Chef Mickey's and then to watch Wishes from the Contemporary with a family that has never been to WDW!

Hi, I don't know if this will help you but at least it will give you a bump up. I am thinking Melbourne is near Vero Beach???? I used to visit Gparents in Vero and Melbourne sounds familiar - It is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to WDW from Vero Beach, so maybe that will help.

Depending on where you are in Melbourne, it can be anywhere from a little over 1 hour to closer to 2 hours. Yeah, I know not a lot of help. Can ya tell me which beach you are staying at? Then I could give you a better idea

I believe it is less than an hour and 1/2...very quick drive...you can make it a day trip.

We live at the south Melbourne / north Palm Bay limit. The fastest I was able to get to Disney was around 1.5 hours. Normally it takes around 1:40 to 1:50 depending on traffic and how many accidents there are. We go up to 528 (Beeline) and then on 417 (Greenway) to get there. US192 also gets there but traffic is much worse on it and can hold you up some.

I'm not sure exactly where in Melbourne...I can't believe I didn't get the address of the place before we paid!!! I emailed him to get it, but here's what the description says...

LOCATED IN A VERY PRIVATE SECLUDED AREA OUT ON THE REEF BETWEEN THE INDIAN RIVER AND THE ATLANTIC OCEAN...SURROUNDED BY WATER AND A PROTECTED TURTLE PERSERVE 2ND LARGEST IN THE WORLD

My daughter lives in Melbourne so we take 192 quite often. It takes on average about 1 1/2 hours.

Yeah, like I never heard that before.

I can't do better than the estimate, I would just plan 1.5 hours.

Also I prefer going 1-95North to 528West to 417South. I HATE 192 and I HATE I-4. The tolls are worth it.
