Drive or Fly

We are hopefully exchanging into a DVC property next summer. We've always stayed at Bonnet Creek and had to rent a car, but now the option of using ME and Disney transportation may be on the table. We live in Central IL and have always flown to WDW via nonstop on Airtran from Bloomington, IL, which is about 1 hour away from our home. We're so used to just getting in the car and going that I worry we will end up hating the vacation based on the negative bus and transporation issues people have during high season. (We're hopefully traveling during the last week of July.)

This trip we'll have a four-year-old and an one-year-old with us. Those in similar boats do you A) drive B) fly and rent a car so you don't have to wait on Disney transportation, but still have to deal with car seats, or C) go and use ME and Disney transportation?
