We will be staying at WL in January. If we want to go to DD one afternoons or evening should we just drive our car over or use the Disney bus system? My kids are 8 & 4 and this will be our first trip to WDW! Any suggestions will be helpful!
We stayed at WL and have to admit the waiting times for the DTD bus were always dreadful, we waited 45min on a couple of occasions, but you could be lucky and one just arrive as you get to the stop. Having said that I always wait for a bus as its part of the Disney experience for me!!!

We have stayed quite a few times at WL, bus exoerience differ all over the board......but we never have a car in WDW but even of we did, we'd take the bus.....we've seen the parking lot for DTD, running up and down looking for a stop is not what I would want to do....so you waited 30-45 minutes for the bus....could be less than you spend looking for a parking spot...plus looking for your car to leave....but if you must, go for it...we prefer to be picked up and dropped off........
