Drive, boat or bus between DHS and Epcot

We are attending DHS EMH morning in August (to try to get DS into JTA) and then want to hop to Epcot. We will have a car. We will also have my 80 yo mom so I’m trying to reduce walking/sun to the extent possible. We are planning to do both WS and FW in Epcot, with the plan to do WS after the sun goes down, because WS is extremely hot in August.

Would you recommend driving to DHS and then driving to Epcot? Or would you recommend bus to DHS and either bus or boat to Epcot, and then bus to resort. I’m willing to valet park at a resort if that helps. We are staying at CBR in case that factors in.

Drive to Hollywood Studios, then drive to Epcot.

1. Bus to DHS is not that predictable because the bus that arrives just in time for you to be near the front of the DHS turnstile lines could be too full to take you.
2. Since you are going to Future World first, there is a much longer walk from the Epcot boat dock which is in World Showcase compared with from the tram stop.
