We are a huge water drinking family! We could easily go through a case in 7 days, however our problem is that we are flying out of Toronto, onto DCL to WDW then back onto DCL to the cruise (land/sea 3/4). We cannot lugg a case of water along on the flight and would have to pay for a taxi to go to the nearest store to buy one when in Disney. I plan on stowing as many bottles as possible on our carryons which will hopefully get us partly through our stay at WDW.

Do they have bottled water on the cruise or is water easily available everywhere? I know free pop is available during meals however what about a mixture of juices and water. Finally I have 2 girls who love Daquires and Shirley Temples (without the alcohol of course). Would we have to pay for these at the bars or are these types of drinks free? Where could we get them?

You can buy bottled water on the boat, I believe it is around $30.00 for a case. I think there is a water spout on Deck 9 that you could use to fill up your empty water bottles. Not to sure about juice, but I think there is lemonade on Deck 9. And you will have to pay for Daquires and Shirley Temples type drinks. They also have very yummy smoothies available at the shows, they charge for those also.

I remember reading about a water bottle package a few months ago that came with a cooler...I was going to give that one a go when we sail. I do know that the soft drinks were really watered down. I was a bit disappointed with that one...

There are three options for water:

1) buy it on board. Either the case of water or the 6 pack cooler.

2) bring it on yourself

3) bring sport bottles from home and fill up on great filtered water from the deck 9 drink area.

Honestly the water on board is great (I'm a big bottled water drinker and love it). We brought sport bottles from home - filled them with ice topped off with water for our daily excursions and had great ice water all day long.
Back in the room I thought nothing of putting ice in a glass and grabbing a class from the bathroom.

We ordered a case from room service and it was in our room before the lifeboat drill. It was 30.00 for a case of 24 bottles.

we brought our own bottles, for our DSs (2 & 4). they were the kiddie kind with the straws that pop out when you twist the top. and filled it up with water and brought it with us when we got off the ship for excursions. so we'd have water ready, whenever our DSs needed it. and yes, they did have juice on deck 9...i believe, if i recall...oj and cranberry type juice. :flower:

What about apple juice and milk? My youngest will only drink water, apple juice and milk. (yes she's picky and she's knows it!).

I am not certain about the apple juice because my kids don't drink it, but I think they had it at the drink station. They did have milk there. The water tasted fine there also. We drink bottled at home and didn't have a problem with the water on board. For the time at WDW I bought some Brita sportsbottles. They have a filter in the lid and the water tasted great. We filled them up at the water fountains and then asked for a comp. glass of ice at the snack stands and it tasted really good. It was really hot in July when we went and we went through a lot of water.

We just returned from a sailing on the Magic. I too love water. The water at the free drink station tastes just fine. I brought along an empty sport water bottle, one that you'd take w/ you to work out and just filled it up.
My sons both ordered shirley temples at dinner and we were never charged once. Though, I'm sure a daquires will have a charge.
Hope this helps
