So I've been delving through the piles of information that you have collected here in regards to the DDP, and I've yet to find a conclusive answer to this question (though I suppose I could have missed it, there is quite a bit of information).

How are drinks handled on the DDP? I'm not referring to alcoholic beverages, just straight soda. At table service do we get free refills on soda, or is anything above the "single serving drink" going to cost? I assume we only get a cup of soda at counter service, but is that a large?

Thanks for any/all information!

The last time I went in 2005 there was no free refills on soda, but recently I read some where around here that they are giving free refills now.

Hmm. Anyone else have more recent information? If this is the case I'd be ok, but meh...I drink like a fish. I'd rather not pay Disney prices for the gallons of soda I'll have to drink to stay hydrated and stave off my caffeine addiction :)

At TS all drinks (soda/tea) are refillable. If you get a smoothie, it is not refillable. At CS, they will give you either a medium or large. If you don't ask, they will only give you a medium. We always ask and get a large and it's never a problem. You can get a bottle of water at CS locations. We often will get one large drink and share it and keep the bottle water for later.

Thank you very much, that answers my question :)

We have always gotten free refills at TS for soft drinks, tea, lemonade, etc. Some restaurants allow smoothies on the DDP (not all). If they do, they are not refillable. Before you order one, I'd suggest you ask if it is on the plan. At Le Cellier, they were very clear in advance that it was, but at other places it wasn't always obvious.

No refills at CS except at those outlets where you get your own from the machine (like the food places at the resorts.) In those cases, you can get a refill--at least according to the CM at our resort. We were told that our drink cup was good for that meal, or if we purchased the mug plan it was good for the length of our stay.
