What are considered non-alcoholic beverages on the dining plan. I know that probably soda, iced tea and coffee are included, but what about juice, smoothies, milk shakes and so on.

Again, I think it depends on the restaurant and maybe even the server. If I remember right, my 2 DS's got "speciality" drinks as part of the plan at Concourse Steakhouse, but we paid extra for that type of drink at Hollywood & Vine.
I am writing from CSR resort, we have been here 2 weeks on the free dining plan. We ate at Le Cellar tonight and the server right away said that smoothes were included on the plan and the Raspberry Choc. Milkshake. Coral Reef also said smoothies were included in the Plan. Those 2 places made a point of telling us, we didn't order them because we are just too full to drink them. It is alot of food on the DDP.

We were on the DDP on the last two trips and we were able to get milk at all the CS locations that we ate at, except at Pinocchio's at MK. The CM said that soft drinks were included in the DDP but milk wasn't (even though the price for the milk is less than the soft drink ). However, I was able to get an apple juice there because the apple juice was listed as a "soft drink" option. We primarily had chocolate or strawberry milk during the trips because we don't usually get them at home.
In terms of the TS locations, we were not offered any "specialty drinks" (i.e. smoothies, shakes, etc.) during our trip in May 2006. One server told me that I could not get apple juice on the DDP, so I just had water that night.
However, our experience in Jan 2007 was different. All the servers at the TS restaurants we went to told us that the smoothies or shakes would be included in the DDP. We went to LeCellier, Concourse Steakhouse, Captain Jack's, Coral Reef, Kona Cafe, and Grand Floridian Cafe during the Jan 2007 trip.
We were told no at Le Cellier (Sept. 19). At Boma, we had smoothies last year but were told this year they had changed their policy on that. At WCC, we were told shakes but no other specialty drinks.
I was at Le Cellier on 8/30/07 and had Milkshakes with dinner. Also had them at Sci Fi, Turf Club and WCC. We were told no at Spoodles and had soft drinks. Also had milkshakes at Pinocchio's at MK. You have to order them as your dessert there. At MGM Backlot Express we had frozen coolers for dessert...they are just like Icees...my kids liked those too.
