Drinks in sit down restaurants

Was talking with co-worker this morning. Told me they ate at tony's for lunch and asked for refills in to go cups. Waiter brought back the largest size cup with what ever they wanted for no charge since they already paid for drinks. Is this true in all restaurants?

In the "Real World" this is generally true. I would say at Disney they would be glad to give you a to-go refill as long as they have paper cups/lids on hand.

Never asked for to go drinks at Disney but once a waiter gave us some. It was nice because it was so hot out. I want to say either crystal palace or LTT

We have gotten drinks to go a couple of times, and its been a mix of the size for all of them... once we were given kids cups...at Chef Mickeys... but for the most part a regular size drink you would get at a QS. At Crystal Palace I asked for glass of juice to go for my grandson the server brought out 2 kids size ones -with one we refilled his cup( like a sippy cup) and poured the other in a smaller thermos style bottle to keep it cold for later, and we asked for a class of ice to put in our large thermos, and she brought out a container filled with ice... she got a really nice tip.

And so she should when they go above and beyond. Its the cheap people that dont give that makes it difficult for the rest of us!
