Drinks and other things you will NEVER touch again...

So many of us were young once, is there any substance you will never, ever, as long as you live, be able to eat or drink again because of overendulgence during your youth?

Someone earlier was talking about Rum....Rum is BAD in my world. Slow Gin is worse and I can't even smell peaches without thinking of my Fuzzy Navel episode (which is ironic, because all I could eat when I had morning sickness were peaches and cottage cheese).

So what can you not even look at without thinking of when you called God on the porcelin phone and talked for HOURS!

TEQUILA! DH and I drank a whole 5th doing tequila poppers when we were 19ish and I drove that porcelain bus for 3 days. I can't even stand to hear the word...it literally gives me that salty want to puke taste in my mouth!

Other than that....definately Rumplemintz (sp??) just thinking about that drunken episode 15 years ago still makes me sick!

And DH is allowed no where near Jaegermeister....that was an ugly ugly sight!

I can't eat or smell Fritos barbecue corn chips. I last ate them 13 years ago and then refunded them with extreme velocity. Not overindulgence, but still, the impression was effective and lasting.

Capt. Morgan and I had a major falling out when I was in college.

We had such awful run ins with each other that often found me on the losing end.

You'll never confuse me with Jack Sparrow in the rum category and fighting pirates like Capt. Morgan. When I was down and out, he took his sword and implanted it firmly in my chest!

We were typing about that evil drink at the same time!

We went to a party last weekend with some "associates" and they bought those horrible shots for everyone there. Well I didn't know them very well *friends of friends ya know* and I didn't want to be rude so I figured I'd just hold onto the shot and then give it to DH who can still drink it. Just holding it looking at it knowing what it was and I puked right there. UGH how embarrassing to puke in front of people all because of the thought of the smell of a shot.

We are going camping with friends this weekend as adults only and I have warned those that are bringing tequila to keep it the he!l away from me! LMAO

ETA I also cannot drink Jagermeister and Peppermint Schnapps! Same basic principle definitely same outcome!

Brandy punch. I don't even know what was in it. Let's just say it was yummy going in but .....

I also had an experience with sour apple martinis, but surprisingly, I have been able to overcome it.

I haven't been able to eat a meatball in 8 years! Ate some at a friends wedding reception and on the way home it started. I don't know if the meatballs are really what caused my two days of violent stomach illness, but that's what I associate it with and haven't been able to touch a meatball since.
