Drinks and Appetizers?

DH and I (mostly I) decided to tack two days at UO onto the end of our trip to "ChEar" on DD at the Princess Half Marathon. DH suffers badly from motion sickness and is NOT a ridecperson so I usually visit Universal solo. He does like Harry Potter so we'll probably focus on those areas. Since we'll be skipping most of the major attractions we'll probably have extra time on our hands and I'm thinking a long lunch is in order.

We enjoy having several appetizers to share rather than entrees. Besides Margaritaville, what are your favorites for appetizers? Good beer is a plus.

We're thinking about NBC Sports Grill and Brew but need another spot. We're spending one night at Hard Rock but, in the interest of frugality, will move to the Doubletree the next night.

NBC Sports Grill is an excellent choice......especially for beers.....

The choice they have is amazing. I`m not a beer drinker but DH is and he was very impressed with the selection in there.....and the apps are good too.

We haven't been, but Antojitos gets good reviews for food and drink too.

Thank you-Antojitos looks perfect, I love Mexican and DH likes a good margarita or two to take the edge off of his theme park experience

Looks like Antojito's doesn't open until 4:00, dang it.

I am a fan of long lunches at Universal - often they end up going too long and I dont make it back to the parks

Finnegan's in Universal is typical pub food - but it it a nice bar to hang out at IMO and I dont even have to leave the park
I also like Toothsome - decent apps IMO and again the bar area is nice.

It does annoy me that Antojito's does not open earlier - I really like the free chips and salsa - they dont skimp - and great margarita's - I also enjoyed the food

I love the Blackberry Margaritas from Margaritaville..........heck I love most margaritas.......

If you’re in IOA, Confisco Grille’s Backwater Bar has some pretty good cocktails too......not sure about the beers as we’ve never had beer in there........but love their pitchers at lunch.........and good nachos too!

I’m not sure what appetizers they have- but what about The Kitchen at the HRH since you’re staying there? Or Jakes at the RPR?
I love to check out resorts and it’s pretty easy to do at UO.
