(The dark green thing near the fence that looks like the bottom of a vacuum is actually a robot that mows the lawn!!! It's amazing...everyone who walks past and sees it stops to watch it--which is a little strange! )
Literally, a window view from this past winter:
One of several waterfalls about a 5 minute walk from my house:
I will definitely miss this place...
Tomorrow, I'm going to Austria for the day(not to major city this time), so I should have some nice photos from there, I hope...
The River Roost at POR is a favorite of ours because of Bob Jackson, not because of the draught beer selection. Also, my DW and I really enjoy the Radio Room at the BWV, especially when the weather is good enough to sit out on the "porch". If you are into scotch, they have several single malt scotches, but they are a bit pricey.

Ok still OT but full circle - the only time I have seen those robot mowers was at Epcot in 1994. I didn't think they became popular anywhere, and just faded out of existance to be replaced by those vacuum robots.
Back ON topic - I had no idea one could find time to stop and smell the roses let alone sit & enjoy a quiet drink & people watch while at Disney until I found the DIS. Since then, my vacations have been more family oriented. Usually my big treat is from the pool bar at the resort, and usually must come with a "virgin version" for DD. I am taking notes here as well!
