We always buy a yard of beer in the U. K. it lasts longer than the little glasses!![]()
What are the prices of some of these drinks - Grand Marnier Slushie, Grey Goose Slushie, et al. I would definitely love to try something but don't want to spend too much! Thanks
Thank you everyone!!! These are some great suggestions! My boyfriend is a beer drinker, but I am not. I am most looking forward to France and the Grey Goose and Grand Marnier Slushies AND champagne, I may have to just drink around France for the dayI also LOVE margaritas, so hopefully I'll get a good one
Bellinis and Lemoncello also sound delicious in Italy!! It seems like bf and I may be alternating countries...he'll drink beer in Germany, United Kingdom, and US, while I have the "girlie" drinks in France, Mexico and Italy! Can't Wait!!
I'm pretty sure they stopped selling those. Pints only in the UK now.![]()
Yep. The plastic half-yards (they never sold full yards as I recall) have been eliminated from the U.K. I was told that it was for sanitary reasons - the half-yards would have to be placed right underneath the tap and the tap touched the sides of the half-yard (which apparently was a cleanliness issue when folks came in for refills). The plastic pints avoid that problem.
Bonus question: although full yards were not available at Epcot (only half-yards), there were at least two places at WDW that served full yards of beer in real glass (not plastic) glasses. Anyone remember where? (I'll post the two places I know of later...)
One was Narcossees's I believe (Carlsberg).
Interesting since when we had them in December 2007 they were as stiff as I remembered them from Easter 2007. They Must be a little sporadic in their measurements...or are they cutting cost or were they running low on ingredients at the time? Hard to know unless someone has some recent experiences
You are one very smart lady with that planWooHoo!Reading all these suggestions is really getting me excited! I want to try them all! We'll be staying at the BC so now I'm thinking this will turn into more of a nightly happy hour (with 1-2 countries a night) rather than trying to do it all in one sitting...can't wait!!
