That's tough. At night before the fireworks, the countries put small stands out in the walk way for drinks. Of course if you like frozen margaritas with little tequila in them they are in Mexico. There is beer in Norway, Germany and England. The one that stood out to me was the wine and cheese stand at France. You get a small tasting of wine(CS for Me) and a small cheese sampler plate. It was great. I am pretty sure they have something similar in Italy. My favorite two places for drinks however are not at EPCOT. 1. The margarita stand at Downtown Disney.(Don Julio Margarita) 2. The bar at 50s prime time. They have good specialty drinks, whatever you like and they will put a blinking ice cube in it and the prices are not that bad. Have fun and be careful.:thumbsup2

in France at the crepe stand, they have grey goose lemon slushies and Grand Mariner orange slushies. There are the fiesta layered margaritas in Mexico. Different beers in each country. An Italian Margarita, or limoncello in the one store in Italy. Germany has wine tastings. Some kind of 'cooler' in China, or plum wine. Sake tasting in Japan. Tangerine daquiri's in Morocco.

I tried the Mexican frozen margarita last time and was not impressed. I really couldn't taste any alcohol in it at all.

They look so good, but "been there, done that" ... are the ones at Downtown Disney better? Is that located on the West Side or in the Marketplace?

The Joy Of Tea stand in China has the best frozen peach schnapps oolong tea...wow they are to die for

I enjoyed a margarita at the restaraunt in Mexico (no frozen crap for me- just rocks and salt!), Bass Ale in the UK, Reisling and Gertherzahminer (wow, butchered that spelling) wines in Germany, and a Grand Marnier slushie in France- all were great.

I tried to get Moroccan wine in (you guessed it) Morocco, but they had none in stock. Very disappointed. Had a red wine from elsewhere that was good, but not unique to the country. Got a cocktail in Norway that was a bummer as I wanted a traditional beverage and ended up with a frozen mess that included creme de banana. Somehow I doubt that's traditional up north! Mom had a Carlsberg beer there that was good though.

We had nothing in Canada, USA, China, Japan (though I considered sake but wasn't thirsty), or Italy, so I can't speak to those.

I'm definitely going to be drinking around the world in about a month as well... two trips around the world actually. One in the first week of our trip and another during the second week which will also be during the F & W Festival. I do plan on splitting things up a little bit or at least- taking my walk around the world very slowly...

There is a champagne stand in France that has a delicious kir royale--cassis liqueur with champagne. It's yummy!

Don't forget beer! Canada, Germany, UK, Japan are all especially good, and I'm forgetting a few others, I'm sure.

Have fun!

Interesting since when we had them in December 2007 they were as stiff as I remembered them from Easter 2007. They Must be a little sporadic in their measurements...or are they cutting cost or were they running low on ingredients at the time? Hard to know unless someone has some recent experiences

Good starting point - England - Rose & Crown ...order a drink standing right at the Bar.

France good for wine - street stand

Germany - beer stand on the right at would walk in toward the town square. Beer selection varies.

Mexico - margarita stand (sounds like you need to guage the alcohol content

Proceeed to Canada

You are now ready to start lap two...don't forget to pick up little snack along the way too..

Must do is the (sp) Limoncello shots in Italy.

We also had an awesome mixed drink in Morocco, don't remember much after that one :)

Have a blast, make sure to drink lots of water post world tour.

1) They moved the margarita stand.
2) When next to the café, it was really good.
3) I mean REALLY good.
4) We couldn't make it to Germany with a full glass.
5) We had to go back for more - in fact did it twice in one day.

6) When they moved the stand
. . . they increased the glass size
. . . they changed the formula
. . . they increased the price
7) Now, we don't even consider stopping, since the taste is so bad.

NOTE: I am no margarita expert, but having spend 2½ years building and running manufacturing plants in Mexico, I have had mt share of them.

Love Margaritas but I couldn't finish 1/2 of the one I got in Mexico last year - tasted like straight tequila! My favorite is the Grey Goose slushies in France :thumbsup2

Great suggestions, can I expand on them?

For a break take your wine into the France movie they've never stopped me even though they do the "no food or drink" announcement.

There is a permanent beer stand in Germany, walk to the back of the courtyard, through the archway like you're going in the Biergarten turn right before the entrance and the beer window is on your right, they sell Spaten.

In Canada if you want good beer go to the hostess stand at Le Cellier and say you want to get a drink from the bar, they have LaFin Dumonde (sp?) and will put it in a to go cup.

The Rosa Regale I suggested earlier in Italy is fairly light and a little sweet, Italy also has the outdoor stand where the lemoncello is sold along with bellinis.

Japan has a sake tasting bar all the way at the back of the gift shop. I just learned that they also sell sake at the kaki gori stand.

The American Adventure has good old Sam Adams.

Okay make a list and let us know if there is a country you don't have a suggestion for :lmao:

If you're a beer drinker the choices are pretty bad...only one's I would recommend are the Franziskaner and Optimator at Germany and Sam Adams at the America Pavilion. R&C only serves bland Euro macros. The fiesta margarita is hit and miss (buy one and taste it before buying another)...Italy, France, China etc. have pretty much only girlie drinks.

My favorite beer is Becks and my favorite wine is Reisling so it's a no brainer for me. I LOVE GERMANY!!!! And the best is when you pair up the beer with a nice Bratwurst and Sauerkraut! Mmm... I'm making myself hungry...

Thank you everyone!!! These are some great suggestions! My boyfriend is a beer drinker, but I am not. I am most looking forward to France and the Grey Goose and Grand Marnier Slushies AND champagne, I may have to just drink around France for the day :rotfl: I also LOVE margaritas, so hopefully I'll get a good one  Bellinis and Lemoncello also sound delicious in Italy!! It seems like bf and I may be alternating countries...he'll drink beer in Germany, United Kingdom, and US, while I have the "girlie" drinks in France, Mexico and Italy! Can't Wait!!

I like to strt in Canada and do an all beer tour - but I love beer! :drinking1

Try the Sangiovese in Italy
