A couple of months from now the fam will be heading down to the greatest place on earth to celebrate my 21st birthday... and it has been my dream for years now to go drinking around the world (You are all terrible influences!). I will be splitting up the drinks over the course of a couple of days (I'm only 21, gimme a break!) and I was just looking for suggestions of snacks from each countries to go with my drinks? Any recommendations?

p.s. being Canadian and in University.. well lets just say I've had my fair share of drinks over the past couple of legal years.. have had nights where I can drink a 12 pack and feel right as rain, and other nights where after 2 beers I'm done.. trying to drink around the world while keeping non-drinkers entertained with different foods while also keeping myself hydrated & well fed to complete this experience! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Oooh, that sounds fun! I would try to stick with lighter snacks just because of the heaviness of the alcohol.

On our last trips we didn't have a whole lot of money for fun drinks but this next time we plan to live it up! Please be sure to come back with some recommendations. I did love the the orange grand marnier (or however you spell it) and the coconut head drink at the laua. I can't wait to try more from WS!

Best 21st birthday ever! I'm 22 and my boyfriend is 21; we did a Drink/Eat around the World day and it was A BLAST.

It really depends on what you like to drink (not that you would know since you're not of age :rolleyes1), but I HIGHLY recommend the Grey Goose slushy from France... It's like boozy lemonade and not to be missed. They also have Grand Marnier ones at the same stand, but I didn't get a chance to try them. My second favorite drink was the Peach Snap! at The Joy of Tea in China. My boyfriend had a margarita from a stand in Mexico (we didn't get to try the tequila bar though... FOR SHAME) and a huge beer from Germany.

Anyway, to actually answer your question! The fish and chips in England are amazing... We ended our night with them. Both the pretzels in Germany and the jalepeno cheese pretzels from America are delicious too. By the time we got to Mexico/Norway, I was full... But the bakery in Norway looks extremely tasty.

My favorites are the guacamole at the Tequila Cave and the Scotch Egg at the UK pub. I do not want anything sweet when I'm drinking.

My personal favorite is the combo of the plum wine and the egg rolls from the Lotus Blossom Cafe in China. There's no way in heck you can drink the plum wine on its own but it's perfect with the egg rolls.

Here's a few things to get:
Taco in Mexico
Kringle in Norway
Eggroll In China
Apple strudel in Germany
Italian pastries in Italy
Turkey Leg or Funnel Cake in USA
skewers of beef and chicken or snow cones in Japan
hot mint tea in Morocco
Quiche and pastries in France
Fish and Chips in UK and watch Off-Kilter in Canada

I have a list of all of the drink menus in Epcot at www.drinkingatdisney.com and a downloadable Drinking around the world checklist!

enjoy!
