Can anyone tell me what the legal drinking age is on the Magic or Wonder? 18 or 21? Thanks!pirate:

I pasted this from the web link below.

Drinking - The drinking age on the Dutch side was recently raised from 16 to 18, but is loosely enforced. If you are driving and are caught without a drink, first-time offenders are issued a warning and a Heineken. While that last sentence is not strictly true, it is not too far from the truth.

Good to know. The girls can't drink on the boat, then, but I know they'll be drinking on the islands. I'm assuming that Castaway Cay is also 21 to drink?

Cyberferret...I know this probably goes without saying, but make sure that you have a serious heart to heart with your girls (especially since one of them is not your own, but a friend)

Even though the drinking age is lower on the islands, they will still need to know about the hazards of irresponsible drinking.

Had to tell you our experience was quite different. We cruised 2 years ago on the Magic and both of my nephews, then aged 18 and 20, were both served alcohol on the ship. No one ever asked for ID or looked at their KTTW cards!!! I did not agree with it but they are not my kids so .....
just a heads up...they might be served.
