My Dad lives in Orlando and was telling me that WDW has lost cost refills on drinks. Does DL have the same policy and if so where can you find it?

Do they do refills?

I was behind a lady who was asking for a refill and they CM informed her they did not do refills anymore.

I know at the Uva Bar it's free refills for soda... I think most restaurants are the same, but I'm not sure...

The disney resorts don't do refillable mugs anymore. I was there a few days ago and we went looking for the refillable mug, but only found a "non refillable" one...

Thank you Spaceace for answering my question. Sad though considering what they pay vs what they charge visitors.

I know at some places like the french market, they will let you do one refill, but hardly like those nice refillable mugs at places like universal!

In the parks at any of the self service locations you can refill while you eating. You can't say keep the cup and return hours later to refill though.

no problem...but the whole mug thing wasn't really that bad i guess. Considering our room (which i loved) was once the other side of resort (GCH) property than White Water Snacks. So the ice bucket in our room was my new best friend! :rotfl2:

So WDW resort hotels don't do the refillable mugs anymore???

That's too bad. I know Disneyland resort hotels NEVER did the refillable mug program, but we utilized it heavily when we stayed on-site for our WDW trips.

California Adventure has a High Chsool Musical collector cup with an orange basketball on the top. Its 44 ounces.
You pay $5 for the cup and $2.79 for the drink.
Then you can bring the cup back for $2.79 refils
Not a great deal, but beats $2.79 for the regular 20 oz cup or so.
Not sure if that cup is good in Disneyland though

As far as I know, the WDW resorts still have the re-fillable mugs. If they didn't, I'm sure there'd be all sorts of outraged posts on the WDW resorts board, and I haven't seen any.

Yes, the do have refillable mugs at WDW. This is from my very recent reservation:

08/24/2008 FEATURE
RESORT REFILLABLE MUG
1 PER PERSON [ 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ]

I think you can only refill it at the resort you are staying at though - which is just fine by me!

You are correct - the mugs a WDW can only be used at your resort. ;)

Okay, I just posted about this topic in another thread. I was promised mugs with my travel package to Disneyland but didn't travel by a certain date. I found out today we won't be receiving them. Anyway, I know they have them, but not sure how to get them.

I don't know about having them at Disneyland - we certainly never saw them when we were there forever ago and we did not get any with our trip through WDTC for this May.

BUT WDW does have them and if you don't get them with your package, you can purchase them at the quick service restaurant at the resort you are staying at. This is what I posted the example of - our upcoming WDW trip (not the DL one).

They have year of a million dreams decorative mugs...they just aren't refillable for free
