We are having our planning meeting later this month and I am trying to figure our what type of drink package we need.
Even though our reception is an early brunch (pre-reception starts at 10:00 and reception is from 11:00 to 3:00) I am planning on offering drinks to our guests. As most are traveling from the NY/NJ area I can't imagine not offering drinks - even though most are not heavy drinkers.
Based on 3 hours of service (but we will probably add more hours) the price of Soda, Water, Beer and Wine is $22.00 per person. If you add alcohol to this the price goes to $27.00 per person (a addition of $5.00 for the 3 hours). Now, I believe just getting a single alcoholic drink at Disney is over $7.00 each. Wouldn't it make sense to just use the full package rather then just the beer and wine package for the additional $5.00. If each person orders at least one drink in that time frame, it more then covers the additional $5.00 charge.
Am I figuring this our right?
Thanks,
Linda
