Drink Mix for Parks

My DW was curious to see if and what drink mixes any of you used to make the water in the park more palatable? She's worried that we need "invisible" or clear type coolaid so it wouldn't be pulled at bag check.

We usually take in some water bottles and fill them up at the drink fountains rather than pay $$$ for more water. No offense to an Floridians, but the water is a bit brackish tasting to us.

My wife is a little (read LOT) OCD and we're getting down to the two week packing point. Lots of issues, little time!

We bring the individual crystal light lemonade packets. We also bring the individual kool-aid packets. This works well!

We used the Crystal Lite singles (raspberry lemonade) too. In fact, Wylers makes these and they are $1.00 for a pack of 8 at Walgreens.
Worked very well for us and not a problem at bag check.

Crystal light works, we have some water bottles with filters that filter out the taste. Don't worry about security, they aren't looking for stuff like that. In fact I'm not sure what they're looking for, I never saw them deny entrance to anyone.

We bring our own bottles of water in the parks all the time. We also get the individual packets of Great Value brand at Wal-Mart. You can also ask for a free glass of water at the counter service vendors, and put your own drink mixes in.

As long as you're not bringing glass bottles or alcohol they won't stop you from bringing drinks into the parks. We've brought bottled water or soda, sports bottles filled with whatever (they don't check), juice boxes. We even bring snacks. We carry crystal light singles to flavor cups of the free ice water to change things up a bit.
