Though not a big drinker, I really enjoyed this week's drinks around the world segment. It sounded like you guys had a blast. If you need another member of the gang, call me :)

As an Member of Tide Pride at Alabama, I've never met anyone associated with LSU who wasn't a big drinker. You are like a unicorn and a rare flower in one. :rotfl:

Also, never met an LSU fan not willing to throw a whiskey bottle at me in Tiger Stadium!

I can hold my own. I say I'm not a big drinker, but that's compared to folks 'round here.

We also enjoyed the segment. Val & I have visited the bar at Il Mulino several times and enjoy it very much. We've had pizza there as well as a few items from the regular restaurant menu.

I too enjoyed the segment especially the video. I was having a tough week and then the video made me laugh and I felt much better.

I do want to try the Il Mulino bar. It looked quite nice.

The ending sequence on the escalators.... BEST. VIDEO. EVER!!!

It's like drinking Lemon Pledge...

Funny, we actually like the lemoncello at Il Mulino. Perhaps it tastes better when you have it after a big meal (and a lot of wine)?

I wish they had tried Sunken Treasures at Hurricane Hannah's at BC

Yeah it's not that bad. It's actually become a running joke in our family since one year at easter when one of my aunts poured everyone as small glass of it and one of my brothers drank it like a shot all at once. Since then most parties at her house always end with Lemoncello.

Is the Limoncello at Il Mulino the "clear" or the creamy style? I just had a friend give me a bottle of the creamy style that he made, similar to this:

It's the first time I've ever tried it this way and all I can say is it's very dangerous -the cream seems to cut that "lemon pledge" flavor, making it somewhat irresistible. The plan was to keep it around for the holidays, but that's not going to happen!

I am really looking forward to hitting some of the hot spots the next time we are in the World. I just have to say, dang, that was a lot of alcohol!

never tried it........but......i always make sure i leave for DHS three hours before meeting the family for dinner, we eat at sci fi, 50's prime time and Momma's every trip, i spend those 3 hours, times 3 at the Tune in Lounge. BTW, just a tip, if you cant get into 50's cause they have no ressies available, if you are seated at the bar in Tune In you can order from the full 50's menu.
