Drink and popcorn refills?

Are there any refill deals in USF/IOA OTHER THAN the meal deal? I've seen some mentioned on these boards, but can't find anything on the official Universal Orlando site except the drink which must be purchased with the meal deal.

Specifically, are there drink refill mugs available anywhere in the parks without the meal deal, and can I take these around the park with me, or must they be consumed in the restaurants?

How about refillable popcorn tubs from carts or kiosks?

yes, both the souvenier cup and popcorn tub are refillable for 85 cents with tax throughout both parks

cups also refillable in citywalk too, there just aren't any popcorn machines in citywalk

and the drink cups can be bought at all the places selling soda without the meal deal.

the only difference with the meal deal cup is that it says meal deal on it and your refills are free at the meal deal locations for that day only when you buy your meal deal

I believe the refills for the sodas are more than 85 cents. You buy the mugs anywhere and you can bring them back each time you go to universal. We have brought our mugs for about five years now. Just remember to buy one that is easy for you to carry around. Some are a little bulky.

these are the ones we bought a few years ago, still take them with us. Did not know they could be refilled at Citywalk, although prefer a Margarita when at Citywalk

It is $6.99 + tax and the refills are 79 cents, I believe. I looked at a sign this past week and I'm pretty sure those are the numbers.

i still take it with me to the parks.

Thanks !! I still don't know if Meal Deal restaurants have the refillable deal or do you have to get your meal one place and your drink another ?? I heard you cah get refills at Citywalk too ,is this correct ??

you can refill your drink anywhere that has soda

now, never having the meal deal I don't know wether you'll get the refill free there or not, I think they might look at the bracelet for the cup to be purchased with the meal.

But again if it's not free, it's only 85 cents
