DREW's first trip to Disney

Drew's trip report
Oct. 3-12th 2009

Cast of Characters:
Grandma Barb
Grandpa Edsel
both mid 50's but kids at heart
and me Drew I am 2 1/2 yrs

We got on the plane Saturday morning Oct. 3rd around 11:30am
Mommy and daddy were sad to see me go without them but they could not work out a way to go,
so they told Grandma and Grandpa they could take me since they have been waiting for this trip since I was born.
thats my Daddy in the background walking away for some reason he was crying, I guess he is really going to miss me

I am patiently waiting for our plane ride

finally on board...Disney World here we come...

The plane ride was not to long and it was fun
cause whenever I didn't want to fasten my seatbelt Grandma
would give me a sucker, that was worth sitting there I guess.
I played with toys and colored They give you sprite and pretzels too.
I loved opening and closing that tray thingy not sure if that lady
in front of me did tho...oh and the little window opens and closes too!

We landed and found Magical Express to get on one of about a
thousand bus rides...I wanted to ride in the bottom of the bus
with my Cars suitcase but they wouldn't let me...

We arrived at Pop Century and found our room, grandma wasn't
happy with where they wanted us to stay so she got it changed, we were right in front of a big lake now.

Wow look at that pool! I can't wait to get in....

The luggage came while I was napping in the bed they let me use.

we decided to eat some lunch
the food at this food court is really good, I love the french fries
and chicken nuggets and they even have my chocolate Soy milk too!

Finally SPLASH down!!

We got up pretty early to go to Hollywood Studios.
I got to ride on a different bus this time, there were Mickey Ears on the windows...

Wow look at that BIG hat!

Lets do Toy Story Mania first...

That was fun..I wanna go again..what do ya mean the line is to
long and no fast passes left?????

Okay on to Disney live show then...

Hey theres Handy Manny

It sure was HOT out there so we decided to cool off on the Great Movie Ride...
this must be Grandma's favorite ride cause
I see lots of Wizard of OZ stuff..she loves that movie
and has lots of really neat OZ stuff in a special room that
I am not allow in...hey she tricked me thats why she wanted to
come on this ride..Hmmmm

We are going to Hollywood and Vine...
Hey there's Little Einstine kids...

Ouch and they say I have a hard head??

and Jo Jo...Hey we have the same smile

When we came out there was a parade going on....

Dance Dance Dance

That was really cute...I Love Monsters INc.

Well I am getting kinda grumpy so we are going back to the room for a rest....its gonna be a long night I think?

We came back to Hollywood Studios so I can see more stuff and watch something called Fantasmic??
We saw Muppets 3D (love those cool glasses and I really thought I could catch that Duck) and Bubbles! I love Bubbles!

Lightining really liked wearing my glasses too!

After a quick picture in front of the water fountain

We decided to go over to the place where the show was going to be...we grabbed something to eat first.
Waited in line and then everyone started walking up a hill and we sat down on very hard seats to wait. I got one of those lights
that go around.....

Wow that was scarey, loud and really really fun, I loved it!
Time to try to get my stroller and walk with all these people
its been a long 1st day....

The phone rang this morning and wow it was Mickey calling to wake me up!
We got dressed and boy was I excited. We were going to eat in the castle.
I wasn't to sure who I would meet there but when we got inside this really pretty lady wanted us to take a picture with her. So we did....

We waited a while longer before we could go upstairs and eat....I sure was hungry.
After we got our table we had some eggs and a Mickey waffle and
then another pretty lady came to our table and I think she
really liked me cause she kept talking to me...

and then she kissed me......

So this is love......

Three more pretty ladies came to the table and wanted a picture with me too...

Wow this was fun and they gave me a neat sword because I am a prince and this is my castle...well at least I think it is.

Lets see who wants to fight me for it...

So now we went to Fantasyland to see what was there.....first stop was Its my World after all....

My favorite was the Penguins

Since we were coming back for a special nighttime parade we had to go back to the room for a rest....

We came back after a rest in the room....we went back to Fantasyland and rode the rides there....

Snow White was kinda scary

But I liked it
