We have a bunch of ADRs set up for dinner. We plan on going to dinner and then going back to the parks. Does everyone "dress up" for dinners or are shirts and tank tops acceptable?

Most table service restaurants do not have a dress code whatsoever. The signature restaurants do. And, since you asked, they specifically forbid tank tops.

From the NEW! Disney site:
Men may wear khakis, slacks, jeans or dress shorts and collared shirts. Sport coats are optional.

Women may wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses, jeans or dress shorts.

Not permitted in the dining room are tank tops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and shirts with offensive language or graphics.

We wear "theme park attire" (shorts and t-shirts) everywhere except signature restaraunts. When it comes to Florida weather most of the year I'm about comfort over class.

When you say tank tops... am wondering as I was planning to bring sleeveless tops (they are dressy (bought in the dressy section of places like JC Penney, not like a ribbed tank or the kind with spaghetti straps). Sleeveless blouses ok? Help!

Yes, you're fine :thumbsup2

I suppose this is true, but in December at Citricos, we saw it all. We had not been in the parks and were a little dressed (but I did still have on jeans), but we definitely saw plenty of running shorts with flip flops.

Thanks! When we are home, we usually wear nice shirts and jeans/dress pants at every restaurant except chain ones so I wanted to be sure.

A TS in a theme park expects theme park attire, like you describe.
We freshen up and dress up a bit for resort or definitely for Signature restaurants. Feeling fresh for a nice TS restaurant is part of the enjoyment for us. That said I am only talking about dress shorts, collared shirts for DH and capris and a nice blouse for me. We do go back to the parks after dinner in this attire.
If you don't want to have to go back to your room to freshen up, you could bring dinner clothes and leave them in a locker and then change before dinner.
Have Fun
