At Epcot today (VERY crowded!!!) Saw a lot of folk dressed up in almost vintage clothing. Some clothed in cocktail dresses, fascinators. Is this a 'protest' against Disney's costume rule?
No. Probably either Dapper day, rockabilly millennials, conventioneers or just dressy folks. And it's Epcot, which itself to dressy anyway b/c of the restuarants.
Today was Dapper Day. It's an unofficial event held twice a year (once in spring, once in fall) where people dress in the fashions that would have been seen when Disneyland first opened. So, no...not costumes, or a fad, or a protest. Just a fun, and popular, event. http://dapperday.com
