Dresses on Rides

I don't think I even brought shorts/pants on my last probably 5 or probably more trips. As others have mentioned, on SM you have to try a tiny bit to be lady like, but its seriously easy. I wear those boyshort/hipster style underneath so no matter what, no one gets a show:)

Yep! This is what I do too. So much more comfortable than shorts or pants IMO!

For all of you skirt wearers: I LOVE LOVE LOVE wearing skirts in the warmer weather. BUT, I hate the chaffing. I am only 15lbs overweight, but it is enough.

Have any of you ever used Body Glide? I saw it recommended, and wondered if it actually works?

I'm on the curvier side and always wear skirts and dresses in the parks without any problems thanks to Body Glide!

Ride wise- the only one I've ever had issues on with skirts is Space Mountain, but that was a dress made of tighter material.

I wear shorts under my short dresses. I've never had any problems on rides!

But then again, with shorts on, I don't need to worry about flashing anyone.

This
And I wear knee length dresses so they aren't even long and have no issues. I usually wear cotton lycra shorts underneath so that if my dress does lift up it's obvious that they are shorts and not underwear

It's not on the rides are the issue - it's getting on and off/in and out of the ride vehicles that will pose more of a challenge, but with a long dress or skirt I don't think there would be any issue.

Be careful of Astor orbiter! After a wonderful dinner at Cali Grill my friends and I hit MK. My friend managed to flash the entire ride group getting off Astor orbiter! Funny to us, embarrassing to her.

LOL! I do own quite a few pairs of cycle shorts, so I'll be sure to wear a pair so I don't have to worry!! :)

lol, my dress came up on ToT on the descent down and we were sitting in the front. Space Mountain is a challenge in a dress also

Body Glide works great! I don't leave home without it!;) Works great on potential foot areas that may blister also. :goodvibes

I am an avid summer skirt wearer. My motto: more comfy than sweats, and publicly acceptable! I've never used body glide, but usually a little powder does the trick for me. What is body glide? It sounds "adult" hahaha!!

LOL... I thought the EXACT same thing! Especially if you insert "Astro" in there anywhere. ;) So glad others can testify that it works well!

I will now make sure that I wear a longer skirt for space mountain and tower of terror!!!
