I haven't seen the ones sold on the website but they ones in the parks are very nice. They were perfect for Potter weekend as it ended up being pretty chilly. Can't fathom wearing it in the summer though.Just a quick tack-on question to this thread: A couple of you have mentioned the house robes they sell on-site. Are they good quality? Are they the same ones that are sold on the Universal website?
We are taking DS next year for the celebration weekend and he is in desperate need of a new robe, but I want to make sure it is a good robe that he can continue to use, not just the cheaply made halloween costume version.
Thanks everyone!

They are AMAZING quality. My son got his at 6 years old and apart from the fact that it goes up to his knees (probably above his knees now) it actually still fits his shoulders and it looks very nice. He loaned it to an 8 year old friend who work it to 6 Halloween parties and the only thing that made it less than perfect was that he played outside in it and got it a bit muddy. But plenty of people have said you can machine wash it in cold!
Apart from Legos it's the best and longest-lasting thing we have bought him for about $100!
His is XXXS. If he wants to get a new one someday I can't wait to see what size he needs.By the time he needs another one he'll be an adult and can spend his own money on it LOL.

Absolutely agree........
They are fantastic quality........ones I bought for God children and friends kids are all going strong after years......
Well worth the money.
My DD's robe is beautiful. I was very surprised by how good the quality is. She wears it around the house all the time. And she is totally excited to wear it again at Universal Hollywood in a few weeks![]()
I agree they are great quality! My dd has worn hers many times including Halloween. She also loves that it has a wand pocket![]()
That's wonderful news! I don't mind spending $100 on one if it will last a few years.
Did any of you order your robes from the Universal website or did you buy them at Universal?
Thanks for the reviews everyone!
