Hi! Headed to dinner on the 27th (first time there). Is is dressier than bluezoo? The website says upscale dining and to dress appropriately but bluzoo's website does as well and it's all park attire. So before I overdress can anyone comment on what it's been like? :sad2:

You'll see people dressed in all manner of apparel. The things there might be a problem is wearing ripped/torn clothing, offensive language on a shirt, swimwear.

If you'd like to dress nicer, there will be others who also do, but there will be people in theme park attire as well.

We always dress up for Narcoossee’s!! Kids included. I typically do either dress pants/capris/skirt, a dressy top and heels. DH wears nice pants & a polo. We eat there every year & still love it! Enjoy it!

Expect people to be wearing park clothes. Disney restaurants do not endorse the stated dress code from my experience. You are more than welcome to dress nicer but I wouldn't go in expecting everyone there to be doing the same.

Narcoossee’s is one of our favorites. We ate there in April & earlier this month. In my experience, you‘ll see more nice casual than grungy park attire. More people will be wearing nice shorts & shirts, sundresses & polos than cargo shorts & graphic tees. Will there be some of those, yes. But people definitely make the effort to dress a little better than not.

Thank you all for your advice :) Since we're local it's easy for us to dress up a little- I'm gonna fancy myself up a bit for this one. :flower:
It never hurts to class the joint up a bit. Make up for all the theme park casual guests (nothing wrong with that either).

I’m a firm believer if it’s after 7, dress up for any restaurant at the resorts. Except ones really geared towards kids like characters or ice cream like beaches.

I’d dress the same way at narcosses that I would at blue zoo. Then again I’d never wear park attire to either. Everyone is different I guess

Act AS IF?

It not V&A where you will not be seated if you are not dressed appropriately...

But it is a nicer restaurant and the highest high end hotel of property.... I wear a golf shirt, usually without stains, Kahki's, wife will wear a dress and heels.... We have seen kids / adult in park attire, I'm guessing swim wear would get you sent away, but I'm not sure I would bet on that....

I have seen attire in all sorts. Dressy and then park wear too

The issue with resort restaurants, even the Signature Restaurants, is that people are often coming from the parks. If someone wants to eat at Narcoossee's during their trip, it often makes sense to do that on an MK day. If that person isn't staying onsite or is staying at a resort that's not near MK, they might not have time to go back and change, so they just come in the clothes they wore to the parks. Consequently, you'll see a lot of theme park attire, but you'll also see people dressed nicer. I don't think you'd be out of place at all if you dressed up a bit!!

When we ate at Narcoossee’s earlier this summer, an entire family wearing coordinating exercise gear in safety vest orange: leggings, tank tops, Under Armour muscle tees on the males, etc. was seated so I figure the dress code standards are quire low! 😂 It was pretty funny.

I wore a casual midi length dress while my DS wore a polo and dress shorts which is pretty much our typical signature uniform.
