I posted before how happy I was working with BrideSave online.

They have a number of dresses "in stock" but the one I wanted was not. Amber told me she would try and find it for me, and after a day, emailed me that she located it! She had found one at the designers for me, and I emailed right back that I wanted it. She emailed me right back, ok good, call me to place the order.

I call and leave a message. No return call that day. I call the next morning, they tell me she's just left for lunch. I leave another message and email her again. Nothing. I call a third day, and SHE TELLS ME THE DREESS IS GONE! I tell her, you said it was mine! She says, oh sorry, I made a mistake.

Argh!!!!

Anyway, does anyone else have any tips or ideas how to get a dress from PC Marys in two weeks? I'm looking for style 6327 in a size 18 in white.

Otherwise I have to start from scratch looking again, AND I already ordered all my floral and jewelry to match this dress!

Any help is much appreciated!

Susy

What a sweet offer!!!

I would love any help I can get - I am desperate!

I printed the list of PC Mary's dealers from the previous poster (thanks for that!) and I started to call around, but had to take the kids trick or treating before I could finish.

Thanks again!

Gah! I checked out your style and it's vastly different from my dress (which is preserved in my closet, taking up space). It's a size 18. Here's a link to a picture. I'm actually looking to sell it - if you're interested.

It brought me good luck!
I hope you can get the style you picked out though. It's beautiful!

J. Darling,

Thanks so much for the offer, it's a beautiful dress! However, I did a very similar style for ceremony #2, (Sunset Pointe, 1998, actually was held inside because it was raining).

I'm trying to do a very different "look" every time, which I why I love that new one with the coat because I've never done a coat! Well, I did a lace "coat" ((Sunset Pointe, 2003, outside this time, sunny day), but it was completely see thru so wasn't really like a coat, more like an overlay.

Thanks again, though, I really appreciate it!

I'll keep an eye out at local stores for you! :)

I can't wait until I go shoping for our renewal.... DH even said he's going to propose all over again! LOL I can't wait!

Best of luck!

I just looked at it and it's gorgeous! Do you think it's more belle than cinderella? Since we are paying the big $$$ for the coach, I wanted something very cinderella, which I thought that other coat was.

I saw on the link that david's has a white dress with a blue sash - that could be good "cinderella", right? I would just have to change my flower order to go with the new color scheme.

I could do the dress with the blue sash with the coat with the fur over it?

I'm going to try to go to david's in person and check out the one you found. Thanks again!

Susy

Well I have called round the Denver area and no one has it in stock :(

PLease let me know if there is a different one I can find for you. There might be hope that this one dress shop just got in 90 mary dressing and maybe just maybe it is in there .

I don't know if there's a Dis meet that day, but we'd be welcome to meet up sometime! We have friends coming down and have a tight schedule from 11/27-12/2, but the other days we're open! :) My sig is wrong. We'll be there from 11/25-12/4.
Here's another dress Idea. This is from David's Bridal. I think it's pretty close to what you had picked out.

I just wanted to add in that I think the dress with blue sash and that coat would be gorgeous together...I think I know exactly which dress you are talking about, and agree that it would be a very princessy look for you! I love, love, love that coat, and wish that it was going to be cold enough to need it...

I'm confused, what do you mean by ceremony #2, etc? Are you getting married to the same guy over and over again or to different guys? :confused3

Same guy, over and over again at WDW

We did not get married at WDW, got married in Los Angeles, but renew our vows at WDW.

So far...
Sunset Point
WP
YC Gazebo
WP again
SP again
this year WP for third time

So much fun, I am lucky to have a romantic husband!

I emailed PC Marys Customer Service and they told me to call them and they would do a stock search for me. So nice of them!

They gave me the name of two stores, one in Texas, one is West Virginia. I called Texas first, no luck, they had already sold theirs. West Virginia next, had it ready to sell!

I called and bought it over the phone, I hope it's the right one!

So...supposedly it will be arriving here in Los Angeles on Monday!

Thanks so much to all of you for your help!

Susy

That's Great! What part of West Virginia? I'm from the Fairmont area, and am just curious. Congrats, and I hope it's the dress you're hoping it is.

Find a bridal salon that sells PC Mary's and have them call the company (mary's) to see if they have it hanging in their warehouse. If they have your size hanging in the warehouse, they can have it to you in 3 to 4 days! I used to work at a bridal salon and when we had a bride in a super hurry for a dress, we would always call the manufacturer to see if they had the size we needed in the warehouse. If so, we had them ship it immediately. What size do you need?

Oops, just read your, "I got it" post. I hope it is the right dress...good luck!!

I think it was 304 area code? And the store is called yellow brick road.

The girl on the phone was very nice, but she kept referring to herself as a "hick"! Very funny.

She was so happy for me that they had it - so sweet.

Will post on Monday if it's actually the right one. What if it's ugly in person? I never bought an internet dress before.

Susy
