Dress Codes

Hi All,
We are considering going to Typhoon Lagoon for the 1st time. We want to go snorkling with the sharks and I am not sure if there is a dress code. I would like to wear my watersocks b/c I can't stand walking bearfoot is this allowed? Also, what type of swinwear is recommended?

I wore my water shoes all day at Typhoon Lagoon, including in Shark Reef. Don't know any other dress code issues. I recall there was an issue about swim suits that had exposed metal rivots, buttons, or zippers not being allowed on water slides. But, I may be remembering that from Water Country USA instead of a Disney water park.

All you need to bring is you and a swimsuit and of course an underwater camera! CMs behind the counter will hand you a face mask, snorkel and life vest. I'm pretty sure it's alright to wear "watershoes/socks" that stay on. (Would be horrible luck to lose one there) But rules may have changed since I have been there.

We had no problem whatsoever wearing our normal swimwear to Typhoon Lagoon. The sharks made no comments about our bathing suits and didn't really seem to care if we were dressed or not!
