We're going on our 1st visit VERY SOON!!! and I understand from these boards that its just casual dress ie.t-shirts/shorts in the parks/restaurants (we won't be eating anywhere posh!)

Is it acceptable for my DH to wear vest tops in the park restaurants or would he be expected to wear a t-shirt.

Elaine

In the counter service restaurants there's no problem with a vest, in some of the higher end restaurants they do have signs stating "no tanks" which I believe means vests in English ;) but that is usually in the hotels. I doubt in the parks that they'd ask you to leave/change but he may feel a little out of place if he's particularly sensitive.

Hiya

I am going on my first trip in September but DH and his parents have been about 5 times. They only ever take casual clothes and have never been turned away from anywhere ( not even when DH was wearing very loud bermuda shorts). I think they are used to ppl dressing like that what with the weather and all.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

you are unlikely to get any problems dressed in t shirts shorts, I remember the first time I went I was concerned about this as well. Most restaurants in the theme parks and down I drive are very relaxed, for a start its very hot there and so they have to accept a certain level of casual wear.

I ate in the Brown Derby before going to see Fantasmic last time and I was wearing a football shirt and shorts and there was no problem, though if had been late at night I think I would have at least worn jeans !! :)
