Going on the 4 day Wonder cruise in three weeks with six adults and five children (ages 2 - 7). What is the dress code for the meals? Do the men need sportcoats for any of the meals? Are the kids o.k. in shorts or should we pack pants for every meal?

Your help is appreciated. Getting excited!

My understanding on the 4 day is that it is less formal for the adults. DCL does encourage sport coats in Lumiere's/Tritons, but reading the posts, many people don't wear them. I believe that Palo's expects coats. If you have on a nice shirt with a tie, I doubt if they'll throw you out.

As far as the kids, no shorts allowed except tropical night and on the first day (because they can't guarantee you'll be able to unpack). Someone else suggested the zip off pants for the boys, and it sounds like a good idea to me! And actually, I wouldn't pack pants for every meal. I'd bring one pair of pants per two shirts. They'll probably change right out of them after dinner, and if they decide to stay in the club, they won't even put them on!

Have fun.

We found it very cool in the dining rooms and theatres. Pants were a life saver. My guys wore pants and golf type shirts in all restaurants except Tritons. They wore a shirt and tie there but no jacket. They fit right in.
