Dress Code problem

My DS(29 yo) hates to dress up. He has a pair of khakis and hawaian print shirts that are square tailed so he wears them out. Is he going to be under dressed? We are on a 3 night Wonder.
Also would it be appropriate to wear khaki shorts to Animators & Parrot Cay? Sorry for all the dress code ???'s.

It is requested that no shorts are worn for dinner in any of the restaurants.

While Palo has their own suggestions for appropriate dress...I don't see anything wrong with kahki PANTS with Hawaian shirts.

The 3-nt. cruise is fairly informal. They don't have the "formal" or "semi-formal" nights on the shorter Wonder cruises.

That is perfect for your son for dinner on the 3 night..no dressing up required. The shorts are not allowed at dinner..although, he could opt to have dinner alone...and not eat in the dining room.

Did you mean 29? If that isn't a miss print, then why would you worry abou what he wore? If you meant 9, then dress him as best you can and let it go at that. There are a lot of little ones who won't wear buttons or ties or any such things. I did the best I could getting my guys dressed, but it wasn't worth an argument on vacation.

My Dad is going with us next year, and his first question after book was "do I have to dress up?". We were on the four day Wonder last year and the only time my husband wore a tie was at Palo. Khakis and nicer shirts are more than ok. It is a vacation after all.
