Dress code for Victoria and Alberts?

Can anyone tell me what exactly the dress code for Victoria's and Albert's is?
I know casual is not acceptable but does my DH have to wear a suit or would a sport jacket with an open collar be ok.
We are dinning at the chefs table.
The days are just going to slow for me.

V & A's is formal for men and women. This is WDW's "grown-up" restaurant. Suit and tie for men and dress or suit for women.

A sport coat is acceptable with or without a tie. Your husband does not have to wear a suit, though he may feel more comfortable. I've seen everything from sport coats sans tie to tuxedos for men. Disney's requirement is simply a coat for men. You can wear a dress, suit, or pants suit. Have a great time!

I think I'll bring his suit, he does own a tux but that might be over doing it for him.
I'll let you know how our chef's table experience goes.

The only requirement is a jacket for men. I used to wear a suit at V&A, but the past few years went to just a blue sport coat and tan slacks.
