Dress code for California Grill

We will be eating there in September and I was thinking of putting a clean clothes in a locker at MK and changing before we go over to Contemporary. I just don't want to sit in damp, sweaty clothes while we eat. I think DH will want a clean shirt at least.

As had already been noted--simply avoid what is on that very short "not permitted" list and you will be just fine!

And absolutely no one will even give you a second glance!!

You will be seated as long as you adhere to the above list.
But when we go to a Signature Restaurant we clean up a bit.
DH wears dress shorts, a sport shirt and sandals, I wear linen capris and a dressier blouse and sandals. It is a special dinner, in a special restaurant and we feel we should be a bit dressier that theme park attire. I personally would not be comfortable in jean shorts and a t shirt.

This discussion reminds me of an old story from a friend who was visiting Paris. He and his group were turned away from a 4 star restaurant because they were wearing jeans, but were seated at a 5 star restaurant. When commenting on this to the maître d' at the second restaurant, the response was "We do not need to borrow our class from our customers."

I wore a nice t-shirt and shorts in June and didn't feel out of place. I didn't pack a collared shirt or pants, only t-shirts and shorts, so those were my options. There were people in their Mickey shirts, others in shirts and ties, and everything in between.
