Dress code - DL restaurants and those off site

Are all Disney restaurants pretty casual - i.e. T shirt and shorts? Are off-site restaurants pretty laid back too? Should I even bother packing a dress and heels since fine dining isn't really an option with my kids - aged 5 and 8 - lol!!!

The restaurants IN the parks are all casual.

At the Disney resorts you definitely would want to dress nicely at Napa Rose at the Grand Californian and Granville's at the Disneyland Hotel. Nothing fancy, just not theme park clothes.

The Downtown Disney restaurants range from very casual to slightly dressier. Again, you wouldn't need to wear a dress but you wouldn't wear shorts at some of the restaurants either.
